Kalinga Tote

Kalinga Tote Bag from the artisans of Lubuagan, Kalinga with the support of Ardlene Bawer. Each piece are wrapped with backstrap loom handwoven Kalinga textile and adorned with local beads of the Cordilleras. 

The Bawer family has been championing the Kalinga culture for decades. Papa Sapi is an incredible storyteller who we love visiting during our immersive trips. He's toured his work across the globe bringing awareness of Kalinga culture and traditions. To this day, his family continues on his legacy with his children who are revered Kalinga Master Artists and have become our partners over the years including Jenny Bawer-Young and Ophelia Bawer-Addom.
