"During my travels in Bukdinon, I learned about the word 'Idana'. It's a term used by both Manobo and Binukid Communities that's speaks of a lullaby about peace in Northern Mindanao. While narratives are a little different between Mindanao and the North, it felt right to name this place Idana because peace is a universal aspiration for many communities and the combination of weaves and motif speaks about togetherness, working together and being in community" - Lydia Querian
