Happy IP and FAHM Month! If you have seen previous content from our social media accounts, we like celebrating the resilience of Indigenous People not only in the Philippines, but all over the world. 

IP communities have thrived through centuries and decades of colonization, imperialism and all other atrocities. They are still here though. They exist. They are resilient. And the history of it all, have only made them stronger and helped them evolve in so many ways. 

This month is the month when Daily Malong was founded in 2017. We like to celebrate RESILIENCE. We celebrate the resilience of the manongs and the sakadas and the many waves of immigrants who have paved the way to where we are now in the diaspora. We celebrate the resilience of the Indigenous communities who continues to thrive over the centuries. 

In our generation, we are another wave of hope and resilience. Our ancestors are counting on us to continue their legacy with the strength that they've reverberated through the years.

The Daily Malong team is humbled to be able to do the work that we do. The IP communities creations have ignited self identity in a lot of us. We can see it in the patterns of our clothing. We feel them through the thread of each textile. 

We are thankful for the communities support. Let's celebrate and remember!
